Pro Tip: All returns must be initiated within 15 days of receiving your order. Items must be unused, in original packaging with all tags attached.

Our Return Process

Step 1: Submit Your Return Request

Email our rider-support team at [email protected] with the following information:

Step 2: Receive Your Return Authorization

Within 1-2 business days, we’ll email you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions. Returns without an RMA number cannot be processed.

Step 3: Ship Your Return

Pack your items securely in the original packaging and include all accessories. Affix the provided return label (for US customers) or follow the international return shipping instructions.

Step 4: Receive Your Refund or Exchange

Once we receive and inspect your return (typically 3-5 business days after delivery), we’ll process your refund or ship your exchange.

Refund Information

  • Timing: Refunds are processed within 3-5 business days after we receive your return. Depending on your payment method, it may take 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
  • Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal).
  • Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Non-Returnable Items

For safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Build A Bar Workshop custom products (made-to-order items)
  • Harness Accessories that have been opened or used
  • HitchSafe safety systems that show signs of use
  • Any products that have been used, damaged, or altered after delivery

Exchanges

Want to swap for a different size or product? Follow the same return process above and indicate your exchange preference. We’ll ship your new item as soon as we process your return (additional shipping charges may apply).

Damaged or Defective Items

If your gear arrives damaged or defective, contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the issue. We’ll arrange a free replacement or return.
